Hathor is the ancient Egyptian goddess of the sky, women, fertility, and love. The worship of Hathor dates to the early dynastic period of Egypt (3000 BCE). Hathor is associated with cows as a symbolism of motherhood and fertility. Her primary temple was in upper Egypts Dandarah where she was worshiped alongside Horus.
