Cucumber Onion Cheeseball
- 1 packetCucumber Onion Dip Mix
- 1 Tablespoon hot water
- 16 oz. cream cheese, softened (2 – 8oz. blocks)
- Crackers finely crushed, i.e. townhouse, Club, or Ritz (if desired)
Add 1 Tablespoon of hot water to Cucumber Onion Dip Mix. Stir with a fork; let set 5 minutes to rehydrate cucumbers. Add softened cream cheese. Mix well (a fork works great to mix with). Shape into a ball or log. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill overnight or for minimum of 4 hours. Remove plastic wrap and roll in finely crushed crackers, if desired. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
Beef and Cucumber Onion Spread
- 1 packetCucumber Onion Dip Mix
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 dill pickles, drained & finely chopped
- 5 oz. dried beef, fine chopped
Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and Cucumber Onion DipMix in bowl. Beat until smooth. Stir in pickles and beef. Cover and chill in refrigeratorat least 2 hours. Serve with crackers.
